Southampton Snowsports Centre

Southampton Alpine Centre is a dry slope set in Southamptons outdoor sports centre approximately 3 miles north of the city centre. We offer lessons, recreational sessions and equipment hire, as well as ramps and rails nights and snowboard coaching sessions.

Opening Times

Equipment Hire

Salomon soft snowboard boots and Trespass boards (updated every 2 years). To hire the cost is £1 for boots and £1 for boards.

Equipment hire is now £3 for boots & £3 for board/skis .

Prices

Recreation skiing is £10 for 2 hours or £8 if under 16 or over 60.

Lessons

Private lessons £40 per hour.
Group beginner snowboard lessons (4.5 hours) £62.00 adults £46.00 unders 16's (minimum age 12)
Snowboard coaching sessions (2 hrs) Special summer offer £6.10 adults £4.10 under 16's.

All our snowboard instructors are BASI, BSA, CASI or PSIA qualified.

Food/Drink

Vending machines available on site.
There is a pub and a golf course restaurant approximately 10 minutes walk away within the sports centre.

Other Facilities

We offer skiing lessons, recreational sessions and courses, and Ringos which are the big inflatable rings you can slide down the hill on.
We also run BSA snowboard instructor courses from time to time.
