Aberdeen Snowsports CentreAberdeen Snowsports Centre is managed by a private trust who took over from the local council and reopened the centre on April 1st 2007. We have all the dryslope news here. We have all the UK resort news here.
Latest NewsOWN IT! is Aberdeen Snowsports Centre's first Freestyle competition and will be held on Saturday 14th June 2008. Riders from around Scotland will compete to win prizes from local stores Granite Reef, Boarderline, Freeze Pro Shop as well as Syndicate Clothing, Alliance and Nikita.
Registration for competitors has now closed but there will be a BBQ, DJ's and a Prizegiving on the night and spectators are more than welcome.

| Tuesday - Granite City Girls (19:00-21:00, £10 each) is a chicks only freestyle night for both skiing and snowboarding. Ideal for those who want to learn freestyle as the coach has years of experience on skis and a board. Advanced booking required.
Wednesday - Practice Sessions (16:30-18:30 and 19:00-21:00, Adults £12, Juniors and Students (With ID £8). These sessions are held on our beginner slope only and are ideal for anyone in block lessons who want to get some extra practice. Advanced booking required.
Wednesday - Freestyle Night (19:00-22:00, Adults £12, Juniors and Students (With ID) £8). This is our dedicated night for boarders and skiers who like to show off! Various rails and features are used throughout the session and this is an ideal night to come along if you want to learn something from the local riders. |
Equipment HireAll prices are inclusive of hire of skis, snowboards and helmets.
Helmets and Gloves must be worn by slope users at all times. PricesPublic sessions are £12 for Adults, £8 for Juniors and Students (with ID). The price is for a "session" which lasts as long as you like, but please note that in busy periods that this may be limited to 2 hours. LessonsBlock Lessons - Available for skiing and snowboarding, these lessons run for 1 hour a week, for 6 consecutive weeks. The cost for a block is £72 for Adults, £48 for Juniors and Students (With ID). For exact dates and times, please contact Aberdeen Snowsports Centre on (01224) 810215.
Private Lessons - Ideal for those looking for flexibilty or who are keen to work on a specific aspect. Private lessons last for 1 hour and cost £30 for 1 person and £10 for any additional persons up to a maximum of 4. Please contact Aberdeen Snowsports Centre to book a lesson and be aware that 48 hours notice is generally required. Food/DrinkHot and Cold drinks machines plus snacks vending available within the main building.
Hot and Cold drinks machines also located in the shack at the bottom of the Alpine Slope. Other FacilitiesTubing - Mon-Fri 16:30, Sat & Sun 11:30 and 14:00. Sessions last for 1 hour and cost £4 per person. Spaces are limited to 20 per session so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. All participants must wear trousers, long sleeved top and gloves.
Birthday Parties - Tubing, Skiing or Snowboarding. Price - £10 per head for 1 hour of activity followed by a sandwich buffet.
