Cairngorm Mountain

The North facing corries and slopes of CairnGorm offer one of the most spectacular settings for winter sports in Scotland. CairnGorm is a resort which suits all standards, from first day beginner to seasoned expert, the new funicular railway provides quick access to the higher lying nursery slopes. With 33 runs, 12 lifts, 1 funicular railway and a snowboard terrain park including jumps, ramps, rails and half pipes depending on snow conditions, these characteristics make CairnGorm Scotland's favourite winter sport resort for holidays. There will be 2 additional, short, trainer tows in place by next season. They will be placed near the Ptarmigan building and be approximately 150m long.

FIS World Cup Snowboarder Lesley McKenna from Aviemore says "CairnGorm has to be one of the best places to snowboard in the world".
