Bassingbourn Ski Centre

The slope has two runs. The Main Slope is 100m long, with a maximum gradient of 20 degrees, and has a Poma button lift to speed you to the top. The Training Slope is 45m long with a maximum gradient of 16 degrees, and has a rope tow.

Please note :- The slope is situated on an army barracks. It is necessary to contact the booking secretary beforehand to arrange for a pass. You can't just turn up at the gate.

Slope use is £12 per session.

Beginners course
3 x 2 hr sessions, plus 2 x 2 hr practice sessions
Per boarder £85

Group snowboarding lesson
1 x 2 hr session
Adults (over 18s) £26 each

Private Snow boarding lessons
1 x 1 hr session
Book 4 private lessons and get 2 free open practice sessions
First boarder £40 each
Each subsequent boarder £16 each
Full member discount 20%

Taster session
1 x 1 hr session
Need minimum of 3 people in session

Per boarder £15

Our instructor has 13 years snowboarding experience, and 8 years snowboard teaching, being Snowsport Scotland qualified.

Courses take place week-nights and weekends. We will try and accommodate you.

Food/Drink

Hot drinks, sweets and soft drinks are available from the club house.

Other Facilities

Option 1: Tobogganing - one hour
Using the latest Swiss Bobs you can have an hour of fun on the Training Slope. The Centre will provide the Bobs and a Supervisor to organise games and races on the slope

Option 2: Donuts - one hour
Using the latest Swiss Bobs you can have an hour of fun on the Training Slope. The Centre will provide the Bobs and a Supervisor to organise games and races on the slope

Option 3: Tobogganing and Ski Mix - two hours
This activity is made up of one hour skiing, and one hour tobogganing. The Centre will supply a qualified Instructor to teach the skiing and to organise the tobogganing

Option 4: Skiing or Boarding- two hours
This activity is two hours skiing/boarding; the Centre will supply a qualified Instructor
