Avon Ski and Action Centre

The Avon Ski and Action Centre provides the perfect environment to learn to ski or snowboard, while also offering a serious challenge to experienced skiers and snowboarders.

This is a rural centre and all the usual outdoor pursuits are available such as rock climbing, skateboarding, 4x4 driving, clay pigeon shooting, archery, quad biking, and many more.

Opening Times

Join the Snowboard nights every Wednesday and Sunday night for a great deal on recreational snowboarding!
Board for up to four hours for only £11! (£16.50 for adult non-members, £14.50 for juniors) Great atmosphere, great jumps put out on the slope and awesome tunes on the speakers!

Equipment Hire

Hire of skis/snowboard and ski/snow boots included in the price

Prices

From £11 per hour for Adults From £10 per hour for juniors (under 16)

For those who can already snowplough, stop in control and use a button draglift. No booking necessary - turn up and ski/board to your hearts content!

Please arrive 20 mins early to get kitted out

Food and Beverages served all day in Boots Bar which over looks the slope.

Lyncombe Lodge Hotel-From the hotel you can take a gentle stroll or a more energetic hike or hill walk. You will find an abundance of footpaths and tracks waiting to take you from one scenic revelation to another. This is a perfect location from which to discover the glorious Mendip Hills.
