Snozone Milton Keynes was only the second UK indoor slope to open its doors back in 2000 and was at the time the first to be part of a larger leisure complex which includes Indoor Skydiving, Cineworld, Bowlplex, Climbing Wall, Gym, Casino, 20 shops, 18 restaurants/cafes, 2 bars, a nightclub and a casino. It is situated about 10 minutes from junction 14 off the M1.
The main slope is 180m long by 40m wide and divided into 2 lanes which are services by drag lifts on either side. There is also a separate and healthy sized learner slope 90m long by 20m wide which is serviced by travellators.
Riders can expect freestyle parks on Thursdays and Fridays when the park crew bring a large selection of boxes, rails and snow features onto the slope for all abilities. And if you’re just starting out, then you can hire all of your equipment at the slope and can book either group or private lessons to get to grips with the basics.
Snozone stages regular events including the popular monthly freestyle night ‘Who's Afraid of the Park’ for beginners to take their first tentative steps into the bigger world of freestyle. Those looking for an alternative can try a spot of tubing, sledging or ice-sliding.
Working with DSUK (Disability Snowsport UK) they are also bringing snowsports to a wider audience with fully qualified, adaptive coaches for those with sensory or learning difficulties.
