Ski Rossendale has been one of the most important artificial slopes in the country with varied terrain and surfaces great for both freestyle and alpine. It is situated in the stunning Rossendale valley in rural Lancashire close to the M65.
Despite its name, Ski Rossendale was arguably the birth place of freestyle snowboarding and where Steve Bailey famously pulled that first 900 back in 1995… on Dendix!
Since then, they have installed a dedicated snowflex funpark with arguably the best big air kicker in the country which has hosted the British Big Air Championships on many occasions. The main slope is 200m long, surfaced with dendix and has a challenging mogul field.
For those who have not yet learnt to control their speed and direction there is a user-friendly and super-wide snowflex teaching slope and an excellent ski school programme to suit all needs.
