DS has contact Capital and Regional Properties who tell him that the Xscape slope planned for Glasgow is being progressed. It is hoped that work on site will start in spring 2004 and will take about 18 months to complete. The slope should be open some time in early 2005.

The planned Braehead Xscape is being rolled out in a joint venture with Pricoa, the American insurance group. They are still in talks to acquire the site at Braehead, Glasgow.

We've just seen a report that indicates that the Sxcape Braehead slope near Glasgow, Scotland should open in 2005. That's the first time I think we've seen an opening date. Construction should begin this year.

Xscape are looking for a tenant for the ground floor of the planned development in Glasgow. They want to be able to develop a luxury cinema within the building, with big comfy chairs, but they are still searching for somebody to operate the cinema.
