US media are reporting that Catalyst Land Holdings LLC have pout forward plans to build an indoor snow centre in Phoenix Arizona.

The proposals match successful European initiatives that have seen indoor ski slopes built on former rubbish dumps as the site chosen is one of the city’s landfill sites. It also matches Ski Dubai for the outdoor heat of the region in which the proposed slope would be built.

Local media said the project, which might qualify for financial assistance from the city, is ‘conceptual’ at this stage.
