Oi! You can't use cameras. No photographs.
Nobody told me. I've been taking them all day... Why not?
We're not open to the public and there's some unofficial websites we have to be careful about.
That's me!
I popped around to my neighbours last week to see if they fancied a curry. Instead they invited me to Snozone - and I kept it quiet from you guys. Imagine my suprise after trying to get an "official visit" for some months now. They said it was a fire drill and there would be about 200 people there. All friends of the staff. I spoke to Healthland. It wasn't a fire drill, more of a practise run for the opening which is still to be announced.
So, what's it like? Out of ten... I'd like to give it one so to speak, but a big 10 really. No, honest. Once we started I thought I'd get bored as the slopes are just slopes, but it didn't happen.
The first thing that hit me wasn't the size, but the height and steepness of the slope. Really quite awe inspiring. The snow is... snow-like, soft and fast and the interior is so bright you lose all snow definition, just like the real thing ;o) The two main slopes are fairly similar with pomas serving each. Each slope has a stepped gradient, much like Tamworth, allowing jumps on the way down. But you want pictures right?
Look at the size of the place! This photo is one of many, but just goes to show the whoppingness of the whole place.

Any bad points? Well the surface under the tow is hardly flat and a few wobbles were had. A lack of terrain... I quite like the dog-leg at Tamworth. Now I'm really clutching at straws. I loved it and I think the only down side is going to be the price. I stayed for three hours, but the family (3@>16 and 2@<16) who invited me stayed for almost six hours. This little jaunt would have cost them £450 at normal weekend rates. Not the sort of thing you're going to do every weekend is it? Is it? We can only suggest you turn to crime. Feed you're habit. You can stop any time. You know you can.
Lastly, respect to
. He knows who he is.
