A total of four freestyle contests are scheduled for those riders competing for the crown of the new established Freestyle World Cup of the 2011 LG Snowboard FIS World Cup, combining halfpipe, big air and slopestyle comps. According to this, one halfpipe contest and three big airs are scheduled in Europe and Asia until the turn of the year.
On October 30th, the riders kick off their freestyle season with a big air at the London Freeze festival. After the ramp performance on the British Isles, it’s time for the traditional glacier stop at Saas-Fee; on 4th and 5th of November, it’s all about style, flow, spins and grabs in the pipe.
Two weeks later another big air takes place at the Winterjam in Stockholm (SWE) on November 20th. Seoul, Korea, will witness the last freestyle act of 2010 with a big air in the city centre on December 3rd.
