Ready AIM fire – the AIM Series sets its sights on the British Snowboard Scene.
Get your boards ready for The AIM (Artificial, Indoor and Mountain) Series, which comprises of four snowboard events around the country from July to October 2002, culminating in the British Snowboard Championships held at a European alpine resort late March 2003.
For the first time, organizers Union Event Management are incorporating all three alpine categories in the UK with the AIM to get more people to strap into their boards and experience the excitement of this thrilling sport;
Artificial
At the artificial slopes in Midlothian, High Wycombe and Sheffield competitors will battle it out in the Artificial Big Air, Boardercross and Slopestyle Championships.

Championships
Indoor
Take to the snow at the Big Air, Boardercross and Slopestyle Championships on the 5th October 2002, held at Xscape alpine center in Milton Keynes. For novices, curious, goofy and regulars there will be qualified instructors and professional snowboarders at all four British events offering free coaching to under 18’s and females.
Mountain
The Series will reach its climax in March 2003, when the British Snowboard Championships hits a European Alpine resort for a week of radical snowboarding where amateurs and professionals alike will compete for the ultimate Championship titles in all four disciplines. As the grand finale of the week and a first for the Brits, there will be an explosive evening Big Air final.
ACTION
The series will be the kick start for promising regional riders to get higher airs nationally and internationally, inspiring them to AIM for Olympian heights.
INSPIRATION
A qualification system will allow the top contenders of each discipline to rail slide straight in to the semi final at the British Snowboard Championships in Europe, giving rising stars the chance to carve alongside their professional heroes.
MUSIC
BBQ’s and summer beats will be the groovy set at the artificial summer events, whilst the after party at Milton Keynes will host the World premiere of Timeless Productions & Spy Camera’s new action filled snowboard movie.
The British Snowboard Championships, the biggest party on snow, is promising therapy for tense limbs with UK top DJ’s spinning some body popping tunes all week long.
