© Alba PardoIn spite of the storm 11 girls took part in the last qualifying round of the NIKITA CHICKITA SWISS TOUR. The event took place in the snowpark of Crans-Montana (VS) on Saturday March 6th.

Because of the bad weather the event took place only on one line: a kicker of 5-6 m followed by a series of boxes and rails (rainbow, c-box, down-flat boxe, flat-box, flat-down box and wave box). The girls had an hour and a half of jam session to decide between one or the other.

The Italian snowboarder Domitilla Mattei stood out with runs composed of beautiful a back 360° on the kicker to take first. Super technical and stylish on the jib was Laura Berry from England, who ranked second. Local Léa Klaue, joined them on the podium in third.

The skier Fanny Andrey from Bulle made the most beautiful runs either on the kicker or on the jib to take first place, followed closely by Nicole Berra and Axelle Marchon.

These six girls are the last qualifiers for the big final of the NIKITA CHICKITA SWISS TOUR 09-10 which will be held in Thyon (VS) on March 20th.
