With less than 40 days to go before the BRITS 2010 Snow & Music Festival hits Laax in Switzerland, organisers are excited to announce that Giro, a worldwide leader in protective gear and accessories for action sports, have secured the title rights for the Giro British Snowboard & Freeski Big Air Championships at this year’s event.

The 3-STAR TTR Giro Snowboard Big Air Championships will take place on Wednesday 24th March with the Giro Freeski Big Air Championships bringing the weeks Freeski action to a spectacular close on Friday 26th March 2010. The coveted British Big Air titles, a £3,000 cash prize purse and a stash of Giro’s finest gear will all be up for grabs.

Already sponsoring an elite team of UK snowboarders and freeskiers including British Champions Scott Mcmorris, Murray Buchan and James Woods, Olympian Ben Kilner, and X-Games Gold Medalist Jenny Jones, Giro are really demonstrating their support for the UK scene and taking things a step further by hosting the Giro British Big Air Championships.
