With more cold weather rolling in, there’s no denying that winter is making itself felt this season, so there’s even more reason to attend Slide to get the best gear for next year.
And as winter continues, yet more exhibitors have signed up for Slide. Recent additions include:
Dix gloves, Mycoal, with their amazing range of excellent accessories, Ryders Eyewear and the Chaos Brothers.
Acrobat release equipment guide
TV production company, Acrobat, will be at Slide, promoting their DVD, “Skiing Gear, the Ultimate Guide”. Filmed at the 2009 SIGB Ski Test, it’s an insiders guide to the season’s equipment and clothing.
Over 80 different companies, showing hundreds of brands have committed to show at Slide for your benefit. Exhibiting represents a considerable investment for a brand, but it also offers visitors the very best opportunity to view the biggest ranges in a great working environment – nowhere else in the UK can you compare and contrast such a comprehensive range of ski, snowboard and winter gear. If you are serious about your snowsport offering, you surely can’t miss Slide.
Attending Slide is free: you can register on arrival or save time by registering in advance here.
Make sure you maximise your time at the show by making appointments with exhibitors. You can contact them by email via the website here.
The Slide Awards showcase the hottest products at Slide and the 2010 version is shaping up to be extremely competitive. Columbia’s Omni-Heat family of thermal reflective technologies for clothing and footwear is already attracting attention. Taking the lead from Formula 1, Head have introduced KERS technology to both skis and snowboards to improve performance while Tecnica’s latest boot, the Phoenix 100 Airshell puts the focus firmly on fit and comfort, with the introduction of personal customisation using a control panel on the rear of the boot to provide support and comfort just where it’s needed.
Entries are flooding in for the Slide Awards in the 3 categories of hardware, software and accessories. The finalists will be on display throughout the show in a special display area and will be judged on the first day of the show by SIGB retailers, media and industry opinion-leaders.
