Extreme Sports Channel, the world’s first TV channel dedicated to the action sports lifestyle, and Freecaster.tv, the premier online video platform for live action sports, today announce the launch of a new online destination for action sports fans around the world.

This new partnership will see Extreme Sports Channel’s popular website, extreme.com, become “Extreme.com powered by Freecaster.tv”, showcasing live streaming from the world’s largest action sports events, including the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup and World Championships, the FIM Motocross World Championships, the Red Bull X Fighters, the BMX World Championships and the X Games.

It kicks off from 10am CET today, live video and updates on extreme.com reporting from the O’Neill Evolution competition in Davos, Switzerland – an essential event for all snowboarding fans. On January 28th – 31st, the site will present live streamed coverage of the 14th Winter X Games from Aspen, Colorado, featuring over 200 of the world’s best action sports athletes, competing in the fields of skiing, snowboarding and snowmobile. The X Games will arrive in Europe for the first time on 10th – 12th March, at Tignes in France, and extreme.com will be there to cover the action as it happens. Coverage from more events will follow later in the year.

As well as Freecaster's unbeatable live streamed sports content, visitors to extreme.com will have access to a select choice of professional and amateur videos on demand, top TV recommendations for Extreme Sports Channel and news and views on the latest events , creating an online destination that is the go-to place for action sports fans.
