On the 1st of April, 2002, a new boarding website will be opening it's doors to the public. 'Snowless' has been designed as a community site for anyone in the UK who rides snow during the winter, but feels lonely during the summer. The site has been designed as a tool for having fun, meeting people and getting information on events that are happening all over the country. There are many features that are focused on the riders themselves. You can sign up as a Snowless Rider and create your own profile homepage, then you can upload as many graphics or movie clips as you like. There are also sections of the site revealing the craziest stunts Snowless can find, and lets not mention the 'Scabs of Honour' section... In amongst all of that, the Snowless crew are planning to hold some board demo days at various Mountainboard centres up and down the UK so that you can come along and try and hurt yourself on the latest and greatest boards from various different manufacturers. Snowless know that most of the riders out there will be interested in Mountainborading / ATB, but they are keen to help promote the lesser known boards that are out there and doing well in the US. These are mainly 'street' boards such as Freebord, Flowlab and Tierney Rides, if they are lucky they might even find themselves with the new BMW Streetcarver for a full review. See you on the other side! |
