100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games has reached all four corners of the world, even the steppes of Mongolia! The Mongolian National Ski Federation has submitted a team of three alpine skiers for the slalom, giant slalom and super G disciplines that will take place at Coronet Peak in Queenstown. As well as the more obscure nations, the Games will feature top Olympians from traditional winter sports nations such as Switzerland, France, Norway, USA and Canada. These include the two current world snowboard number ones Jiayu Liu (CHN) and Ryoh Aono (JPN) together with freeskiers X Games gold medallist Anna Segal (AUS), X Games silver medallist Jossi Wells (NZE). The inaugural 100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games will take place at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, Cardrona Alpine Resort, Snow Farm, Naseby and Dunedin from 21-30 August 2009.
