There currently seems no end to the snowfall in Chamonix with locals reporting powder up to their necks. Where previously there were stones, there are now canyons 3m deep leading away from the dug out chair lifts. It's been snowing for over a week now and there's more forecast for the next few days, when the forecasts suggest the snow will stop around Thursday and the sun will make its first showing for some time on Sunday - the first day of our Kommunity Camp. There are still a few places to be had - 3m of powder and the best freeriders out of the UK showing us where to go and how to do it. C'mon, sounds good doesn't it? |
