I don't feel I knew Keith well enough to break this news to the general community, but we heard yesterday that McNab snowboard coach Keith McIntosh died in an avalanche yesterday whilst at the UK snowboard test in Kaunertal, Austria. He was riding with Will Hughes, James Stentiford and possibly others when the avalanche struck and did not manage to outrun it.

Keith leaves behind his wife, Mel and young son Arren. Naturally our thoughts are with them.

There's a page been set up on Facebook for tributes for those that knew him as a friend, coach and mentor and would like to pay their respects.
