Head have created a revolution in the rental equipment market. Their approach fits perfectly with The Snow Centres aim of a first class ‘Guest Experience’.

Upon arrival at our snow resort, you our guest, will want to get onto that inviting snow as quick as you can. If you are with us for the first time and it is also your first ‘go’ at a snow sport, you will want that experience to be as comfortable as possible; for it to be easy to understand what we do for you and what equipment you will require.

Traditionally, fitting a ski or board boot and calibrating adjustments can take quite a time, causing queues and confusion for ‘first timers’!

So, with The Snow Centre team fully certified and qualified by the Tyrolia Academy, the deployment of the HEAD BYS System means that our staff will select boots that fit your foot size and are colour coded to skis or different lengths to suit your height and ability. That’s it! That’s the safe and easy way to get you out on our snow slope.

HEAD’s unique BYS system categorizes all equipment into three clear segments by coding them with colours: Black, Yellow and Silver. The junior ski selection has a forth category colour coded Blue.

If you require equipment for Boarding, then there is a similar system which we call ‘Speed Disc’. All we have to do to get you on your way is lift a lever, turn, adjust the binding and close. It’s that simple. That process will not take our staff any longer than 58 seconds!

In addition to hosting this unique system we do recognise that some of our Guests may require a more prestige Ski or Board and one that can fit their own boots. The Snow Centre shall have a range of Prestige equipment for you to use on that all important course or snow experience!

All our rental Ski boots shall be of the four buckle type, allowing for the best fit possible. Our Board boots shall incorporate ‘Pull n Lock’ lacing for ease of fitting and comfort.

Helmets for safety whilst on lessons or performing your freestyle activities and for our junior guests whilst at the recreational level, will be provided.

All skis, boards, boots and helmets are included in your ticket price! The Snow Centre shall be announcing shortly, some major partnership activities with Head.
