The well known SNO!storm returns to SNO!zone, Castleford for the first time in 2008, and this time there is a change of focus.

The quarterly event is back at Castleford this Friday 11th April and the night on the slope is set to be huge. With the main event being held solely on the slope this time, the way SNO!zone are operating their storms is changing a little and this can only be for the better!

With the focus being more on the SNO!park, the CASvegas crew are keeping the entertainment out on the slope going all night long with an epic mix of freestyle features and DJ’s playing live.

Fran Hennessy, Events Co-ordinator from SNO!zone says:

“The April Fools Party for SNO!storm is going to be massive! We have 3 DJ’s out on the slope, playing everything a rider could possibly want from hip hop to breaks, Reggae to some trip hop sounds!

“The park will be a great mixture of our best freestyle features! And this time we are introducing a jam session competition on the kicker as well.

As well as the competition on the kicker, there will also be prizes for the most improved throughout the evening on the Rookie zone, with MC Matt Leigh dishing out the prizes ranging from Limited Edition SNO!storm T-shirts to a host of other great goodies.

“We are bringing lots of new features to this SNO!storm to make it our best yet, so we will have FREE hot chocolate, tea and coffee for all the riders at our Halfway Hut on the slope! And for those brave enough to rock up in fancy dress for the April Fools Party we will have even more goodies to give away. With the slope being open an extra hour until midnight, everyone can ride all evening and then join in on the after party in the SNO!bar”
