Team UK, consisting of James Bryant (photographer – assistant editor Document Snowboard) and Vans riders Stuart Horsham and Mark Ruparelia, has scooped 1st place in the Vans Photo Invitation Award that took place at the Wangle Tangle event in Mayrhofen. Winning a cash prize of 2,500 euros, plus 500 euros worth of Vans product.

As already reported, the UK was represented in the finals of the snow comp with Vans Euro rider Tyler Chorlton taking 6th place in the overall competition and winning Best Trick of the Day with a double front flip off the Vans kicker. Andreas Gidlund bought home the bacon for Sweden taking overall 1st place (and winning 2,000 and a new Suzuki Moto-X bike) with Elias Elhardt of Germany taking 2nd and Vans Euro rider Wolfgang Nyvelt taking 3rd.
