Hotel plans for SnowDome

An article on
"Our solution has been very positively received and is likely to generate in the order of 60 full and part-time jobs."

He added: "Its full effect on the local economy, whilst being very positive, is difficult to quantify but will extend beyond the immediate and obvious building and hotel management employment by creating demand for services such as laundry, cleaning and general supplies.

"Its presence will encourage longer visits to the Snowdome, including people from abroad, and it will support business and the community generally by bringing modern hotel accommodation into Tamworth."

Sawley Cross Properties, part of the Merlion Capital Group, purchased the site last year.
