The comp go-ahead decision will be made on Thursday 6th March before the event and the decision posted on the Snowsports Scotland website, on the Nevis Range website and on the Summit Park site. If the event is cancelled on the Saturday, we will try run it on the Sunday. Our man in Scotland, Steve McKenna adds: The weather is looking a little touch and go over the next few days with gales forecast on Thursday and Friday. If anyone is planning on heading up, it's best to keep an eye on the Snowsport Scotland website (www.snsc.demon.co.uk) to avoid a wasted journey. After the Cairngorm leg was called off at 8:30am on the morning of the comp two weekends ago, if it's looking at all sketchy I wouldn't be surprised if they air on the side of caution with this one. |
