The winter is really coming around here in the Chamonix valley and everyone's thoughts have drifted towards the epic riding to come. Many of the top British riders are once again coming to the valley for the season and many will be helping out on the Kommunity camps as usual. The big boss himself Steve Bailey who recently finished third in the Olympia Daily mail ski show big air comp will be a regular coach on the camps amongst a whole heap of other top UK riders and of course myself. I have recently been over in Zermat riding the pipe over there which was in great condition and will be in Tignes for most of November and December, the season kicking off here in chamonix around the 15th December. The schedule of camps and courses here is looking busy and I personally am looking forwards to once again meeting a whole crowd of new and old faces for some amazing riding in the mountains of Chamonix. Remember, for the Kommunity Freeride camps any level of rider can come along and learn the latest techniques, get the tips from the pros and have great fun in an easy going and inspirational atmosphere. So as the winter draws in, and it looks like it's going to be another good one, make sure you don't miss out. Let your imagination get the better of you and find your self flowing down the mountains, slashing the powder, sliding the crest of the windlip and dropping the rock outcrop with the best riders in the bussiness. Hope this wets your appetite. All the best, Neil McNab. |
