Milton Keynes snow village almost finished.

Europe's largest indoor 'real' snow slope at Milton Keynes is nearing completion, with the opening date set for 5 July.

Described by the developer as "an entirely new concept in total brand development for leisure and retail complexes"; Xscape will provide stiff competition to the Tamworth Snowdome.

Centrepiece to the scheme is the Healthland SnoZone, which has three ski slopes with capacity for 250 skiers and snowboarders an hour. Healthland will also run a fitness centre, and other tenants include a Cineworld multiplex and a City Limits entertainment centre, run by Scottish & Newcastle.
