Almost gone are the good old days in France, when you could divide by 10. You'll soon have to divide European prices by 1.6 to get the equivalent UK. I just got back from a fact finding mission (EuroDisney) and it's true! The French and a few other snowy countries are taking on the Euro on the 1st January 2002. There will be a month's overlap (in France anyway) when both Euros and Francs will be legal tender which should be fun. We're in Chamonix for the last few days of January 2002, so if you have some money we could spend then send it to the usual address :) We've updated our currency converted to help with the hectic transition. |
