SnOasis obstacles revealed

An article on the Evening Star 24 includes the five criteria that government representatives of the Deputy Prime Minister will be looking at to decide whether the plans need to go before a public enquiry. These are, would the development:

  1. conflict with national policies on important matters
  2. have significant effects beyond the immediate locality
  3. give rise to substantial regional or national controversy
  4. raise significant architectural and urban design issues
  5. involve the interests of national security or of foreign governments

Local residents have also formed a lobby group called SnOasis Concern as they fear SnOasis would have massive negative impacts on the Great Blakenham area.
