If only some UK slopes had the courage to do this. SnowFlex is where it's at. Every town should have a SnowFlex slope. Safe, easy, fun and cheap compared to the real snow equivalent, especially when you take reduced slope insurance premiums into account. Massive French SnowFlex slope to be expanded. Since the initial announcement made back in January Briton are pleased to announce that the Nœux-les-Mines project in northern France is to be expanded to increase the options for skiers and boarders at the top of the hill by providing enhanced “green run” opportunities. This expansion was originally drawn up as the third phase of the project, and was due to be constructed in approx. two years time. However the local authority took a decision to maximise the projects potential and to make the most of the economies of scale by linking the different phases together. ![]() Groundworks to the hill are now nearing completion and the first deliveries of Snowflex® and associated products have also been received on site. ![]() Moguls and kickers take shape. The first few members of Briton’s experienced installation team are now on site and have begun the second stage to this exciting project. The team have begun to build the kickers, pipes and mogul field in readiness for when the rest of the group land later this month to begin the intricate task of laying Snowflex on the slope. ![]() A spectacular view of spectacular features. ![]() The lodge – Simply magnificent! The installation is on target for completion in the summer for handover to the client. For those of you interested, Noeux-les-Mines is less than an hour south east from Calais along the A26. Tolls for the route are 5 Euros. |
