Swell (2nd September) reports that the Gotcha Glacier project -- a proposed $140 million Anaheim indoor facility featuring surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding -- is now officially stalled as the developers have failed to renew the lease on the site near Disneyland.The project manager stressed that the park, which was originally scheduled to open in spring 2001, "will still be built." Gotcha has spent more than $5 million since the project was launched three years ago. It seems that they haven't got enough backing for the project to go ahead in its current form.
