Snozone - Yes Or Snow?

A touching story from Snozone at Xscape, which proved to be the most engaging place in Britain last week as it achieved another first, which proved quite a challenging proposition.

For the first time ever the real snow slopes at Milton Keynes softened the path of true love for 26 year old James Myhill, from Abington in Northampton, as he slid onto one knee to propose marriage to his girlfriend Nicola Rawlins.

The very top of the 170m slope was the site James chose for his romantic moment on Nicola’s 29th birthday and Snozone staff worked hard behind the scenes to make sure the moment was just the stuff that dreams are made of. Before James took his very own ice maiden up the slope, the ring – white gold and diamonds of course - had been buried in the snow, roses arranged and of course the champagne chilled – although that proved pretty straightforward with all that snow around!

James couldn’t be sure of Nicola’s reply to his crucial question. She had taken the day off work for what she understood was a special snowboarding birthday treat and a follow up to snowboarding lessons the couple have recently been taking at Snozone.

Once the scene was set – the temperatures didn’t cool James’s ardour, and his romantic proposal melted Nicola’s heart – her answer was an immediate “Yes”. Luverlee...
