This year’s TGR ski and snowboard, ‘The Tangerine Dream’, will take a 10-yr retrospective on TGR, it’s driving forces, it’s founders, the cinematographers, the athletes as they travel all over the world witnessing the best the mountains have to offer. Unrivalled in it’s worldly coverage, this year’s TGR film is already highly anticipated on the European circuit.

TGR have travelled far and wide over the last year collecting footage for ‘The Tangerine Dream’ and for their newly commissioned NBC and Fox Fuels terrestrial television programmes. There are emotional and physical drivers behind the film itself. “The dream” is a truck that Dirk Collins drove down from Alaska in 1996 that gained a cult following in Jackson Hole as it picked up riders to and from the mountain. Gathering a reputation and respect, ‘The Tangerine Dream’ soon became a metaphor for TGR and the youthful innocence of a shared goal and shared dream.

In light of this, the dream symbolized a life of meager survival and the desire to create a world unbound by the rules and stereotypes that at the time ruled the ski industry. The film will explore this theme, applying it to everyone from the lensman to the founders to the athletes. Asking individuals to reflect on their own dreams, it will take us on a kaleidoscope journey of life and mountain adventures.
