Neil writes that the Friday 8 'til 11pm boarding night was no more last Friday. Indeed by 10pm, there were even skiers on the slope.
To make matter worse, SnoPatrol were only letting one person in the park at a time "in the interest of safety", despite there being two clear runs down the slope and people having their own brains. He says it's a shame, because just last week he was so impressed that they'd started getting things right by building the superb jump up the side of the table and pumping out the right music at the right volume.
He argues that the owners are being a bit heavy handed, especially in light of TheBoarder's our own poll showing that over half of boarders would prefer the 8 to 11 session, with less than a third claiming they'd prefer the 7 to 10 slot.
Snozone have told us (23rd July) that you can book a three hour session any time on Friday between 7pm and 11pm and they'll make sure that reception know this, so people like Neil aren't refused a three hour session at 7.30pm. There shouldn't have been any skiers on the slopes either and the Friday session, complete with the wonderful park, will remain snowboard only.
