AS sent us a review of the longest indoor slope in the world and it will make you weep.
Once again I visited the slope in Bottrop (13 hours slope time GBP16.33). Having recently been to both Tamworth and Milton Keynes it seemed better than ever - the snow is getting better too, its more Milton Keynes than Tamworth (and they can re-piste in around 15 minutes with a single piste basher, makes you wonder why it takes an hour at MK).
There's no minimum standard there so I might have a go at snowboarding next time (looks easy enough...). They've started building a set of ramps and rails at the bottom of the slope, there's a half pipe to build up speed on and a ramp and a couple of grind rails. There was loads of snow piled up nearby as if they intend to build more.
