Only 10 days to go until the cream of British Snowboard & Freestyle Ski talent descends on Laax, Switzerland 12-19th March for the Orange Brits in association with O'Neill.

To continue tradition the music line up is jam packed, bringing entertainment to spectators and competitors day and night. The highlight of the week is the Orange night featuring DJ Nick Maxwell, DJ Skitz, Matt Smooth and MC D Thursday 17th March at the Riders Palace Gallery Bar, closely followed by the now legendary ‘Homegrown’ night on Monday 14th March and ‘Funk Royale’ on Wednesday 16th March. The Orange Brits resident DJs Nick Maxwell, Bonobo, Russ Porter and Toby 1 will be playing through out the week on the mountain, in the Crap bar and Rider’s Palace.

DJ Skitz with Matt Smooth (Scratch) & MC D : Hip-hop heavy weight DJ Skitz has been tearing his way through the scene since his debut 12" 'Skitz alongside Roots Manuva' in 1996. Skitz deejays alongside Kool Dj Herc, Cash Money, Jazzy Jeff, Grand Wizard Theodore, Kenny Dope, Blak Twang, Roots Manuva, Talib Kweli as well as performing live alongside Outkast, Reprazent, Ms Dynamite to name just a few.

Homegrown (Dom Harington, Scott Nixon, TonyB & guests): Scott Nixon – turntablist exceptional of the dark, sweaty world of drum n’ bass, beats and breaks. Scott has played at pretty much every Brits since 96! Following his footsteps is Dom Harington, Current British Halfpipe Champion and British Team member whose Hip Hop sets and scratch abilities blew away even the most famous of guest DJs at last year’s Orange Brits.

TobyOne (Funkroyale/ Vans): WhiteBoyRastaPunkFruitCake otherwise known as TobyOne. With an addictive passion for funk, hiphop, disco and reggae Toby has Played in Lisbon, London, Marseille, Capetown and Copenhagen. A regular to the Brits for the past 2 years, Toby is set to rock the joint.

Ben Bailey (Funkroyale/ Vans): From Motown, Funk and Electro through to HipHop, RnB and Bashment, Ben is a master at seeking out the best there is and using it to dramatic effect on the dance floor.

Nick Maxwell (The Menagerie): He plays at various hip-hop nights around the UK and in Europe, alongside names such as Run DMC, Dilated Peoples, Blackalicious, Rahzel and Ugly Duckling, as well as large-scale snowboarding and skateboarding events.

Bonobo (Ninja Tunes): Whether touring the world with his Ninja Tune label, dropping exclusive material straight from his laptop or simply rocking the floor at his phonic:hoop residency, the Monkey is in demand. Although Bonobo prefers to play a club set aimed at the Dancefloor, he is more than adept at delivering a more downtempo chillout set. The choice is yours.

Russ Porter (Quantic Soul Orchestra & Limp Twins): Expect good dance music, new and old; Rocksteady Rhythms, Future Boogie, Border-Town Disco and West Midlands Soul.

TonyB (The linch pin):.Tony began spinning his distinctive blend of Hip Hop, Rave Groove & Funk back in the late Eighties. Over the last 7 years Tony has been either providing sound systems or DJing at a whole host of Snowboard Comps in the UK and Europe, most recently playing at Laax during the Burton European Open.
