Spoke to James Mcphail today in the Whitelines office and the news from Val D'Isere/ Tignes is that the snow is pretty unstable according to Graham Macvoy who also said that 3 people have died so far in avalanches since the weekend, so... Take care if your out in the mountains or heading out soon!

Just because someone else has tracked a line doesn't mean its safe. Graham MacVoy and Skier Woodie Buoma did a face in Tignes the other day which runs down to their appartment. They sat on the balcony having a cup of tea admiring their fresh tracks when 2 other people dropped in the same run and the whole thing gave way... you never can tell.
