Ryanair today (Thursday 20 January 2005) announced even more seats from the UK to the snow this ski season. Due to huge demand, capacity on Ryanair's low fare services to Salzburg in Austria and Friedrichshafen in Germany will be significantly increased from 25 February through to 27 April, 2005. Ryanair will operate three flights a day from London to Salzburg and two flights a day from London to Friedrichshafen. Salzburg's location offers perfect access to some of Europe's best ski destinations. Zell am See is the gateway to Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner, while Kitzbühel positively buzzes with excitement throughout the winter season. Friedrichshafen offers easy access to the regions of Vorarlberg and the Tyrol in Austria. Family-friendliness is a hallmark of holidays in Vorarlberg while Ischgl in Tyrol offers quite a different experience. The resort combines one of the most beautiful ski areas in the Alps with the hottest nightlife ski area in Austria. An airport bus and taxi shuttle is available to all the best ski resorts. Further details at www.airport-bus.at Speaking today, Ryanair's Head of Sales & Marketing for Europe Sinead Finn said: "Ryanair has been so inundated with demand for these two popular ski destinations in Germany and Austria that we have decided to increase capacity on both services by 50%. "For keen skiers and beginners alike, this is an excellent opportunity to book a last-minute ski trip. Both regions offer a wealth of different ski experiences from beginners to family groups and party seekers. And the best news is that both destinations are available at Ryanair's legendary low fares. Get online at www.ryanair.com now as fares to these destinations start from as little as £2.99 one way excluding taxes." |
