The piste bashers have been out of action since Thursday and several readers have been told that the slope has been closed or has been closing an hour early (despite phoning in advance to check availability). The slope was closed for most of Sunday.
Snozone say:
Just to clarify, the slope is not closed. Over the weekend both of our slope groomers were out of action so we took the precaution, for the safety of our customers, to close the slope early to enable it to recover for the coming week.
We now have one of our groomers fully operational and the other is undergoing repair and we expect to have it returned to full health shortly.
In the meantime, we will be closing an hour early over the next couple of days to allow the slope to firm up overnight following grooming.
Rest assured! The slope will be fully operational for Ski and Snowboard only nights this week and we will be open during our normal advertised opening hours (9am - 11pm) during Thursday and Friday.
If we expect any variance to this I'll let you know immediately.
