SCUK is starting to look like an avdert for the Orange AIM Series! I just hope he's not competing. Snowboard Icon Inspires UK's Grassroots Talent in Sheffield Norwegian snowboard legend and ex World Champion Daniel Franck will make a rare appearance at the Sheffield Ski Village for the Orange AIM Series Artificial Snowboard Slopestyle Championships on Saturday 23rd October 2004. During the weekend, Britain’s top snowboarders and skiers will descend on Sheffield Ski Village to compete in the Orange AIM Series, in association with O’Neill, National Artificial Slopestyle Championships, combined with a skier/boardercross and halfpipe competition. World Champion 1999 and Halfpipe silver medallist in the Nagano Olympics 1998, Daniel Franck, from Varingen in Norway will spend the day with the Orange AIM Series snowboard competitors to talk about his life, achievements and new training techniques, with the aim to inspire UK’s up and coming talents. As an icon within the world of snowboarding, Daniel’s visit to the Orange AIM Series and the Sheffield Ski Village will surely encourage young and older riders to take their riding further. During his visit Daniel Franck will welcome UK riders to participate in a thrilling experience at Oppdal, Norway, 6th - 13th February 2005, as he launches Franck Academy; an International development camp that offers Daniel’s extensive expertise in training techniques from his years as an Olympian and World Cup athlete. It promises to comprise professional training in a relaxed and fun environment.
