The Snozone slopes have been revamped. The Boarder was let in on the little secret and sworn to secrecy last week, but we've just heard from AM who says it's all done. Just goes to show that the grapevine that is the Internet is a little faster than traditional marketing techniques.
AM says:
Snozone have now got some trees planted around the place and the sound system is working. Plus the fun park has moved to the other slope, its got a couple of pipes, a rail, the table top back and what looks like a kicker in the making.
The speakers came all the way from the USA and the park will remain in the centre position which does rather beg the question of what shall we call the slopes now? How about, "the skier's slope", "the boarder's slope" and the "lesson slope" - just to be a bit controversial.
I've suggested to Snozone that they dig over the landings of the jumps like some other indoor slopes do. My coccyx is still giving me a modicum of jip after it had an unscheduled coming together with the table top a few weeks ago. (Not that I expect them to dig over the top of the table top, I expect me to jump further having the confidence that where I do land will be less than ice hardness.)
Now that they have the park sorted, expect Snozone to relaunch the Friday boarding session - big hint to SZ - dim the lights and turn up the music. That's that sorted then. We'll let you know when the relaunch is announced.
