Availability and lessons in the halfpipe
Posted Tuesday 4th May 2004, 3:02 pm by Dunx
It seems we're doing this to death, but we're hearing nothing but praise about Milton Keynes' half pipe.

Here's the official word from Xscape. They say it should be available until July/August, but much they will have to confirm this nearer the time.

Half Pipe Recreational Times:
Tuesday - 1900-2100
Wednesday - 1000-1300
Thursday - 1500-1700
Friday - 1900-2300
Saturday - 1900-2300

These times may be extended. It is always worth checking/booking prior to when you want to visit as they also have a number of corporate events which may close the half-pipe.

Half Pipe Lesson Times:
Wednesday - 1000-1200
Sunday - 1500-1700; 1730-1930; 2000-2200

The cost of the lesson is £48.00 for 2 hours. Lessons will be available in 3 standards.

Beginners - people who have never used a half pipe before;
Intermediate - someone who has ridden a pipe but cannot get above the lip;
Advanced - someone who can gert above the lip and wants to learn new tricks.

These are open for both skiers and boarders. To start off only beginner lessons will be available until demand grows and then the other levels can be booked. Please call 0871 222 5670 for more info, and these will definitely need to be pre-booked.
