Posted Wednesday 7th January 2004, 5:35 pm by Dunx
Skiing on 4 this coming weekend features the Double Downhill from Chamonix.

Former British Champion Nick Fellows will be on the piste and in the studio with a series of top ranked guests, as Channel 4 brings you another 6.5 hours of top class winter sports action throughout the week.

Saturday mornings programme focuses on the first-leg from Chamonix, which takes place on Friday. The show also features Chemmy Alcott’s Super G exploits in Majeve, and Alain Baxter’s Slalom in Flachau.

Sunday’s show concentrates fully on Saturday’s Downhill race, with all of the world’s top racers competing.

With Britain’s female snowboarders currently ripping-up the world rankings, Wednesday nights show takes a look back to Whistler, Canada. In action was Britain’s Lesley McKenna in the half-pipe and also 18 year old Zoe Gillings in the Boardercross. They both enjoyed their Canadian adventure.

The programme also features Men’s and Women’s Moguls from Madonna di Campiglio – with a profile of Norway’s Kari Traa.
