Extreme Photo 2003 kicks off in London
Posted Monday 20th October 2003, 4:24 pm by Dunx
The Extreme Photo 2003 photographic competition has attracted an exceptionally high quality of entries from an international field of photographers.

The very best photographs have been shortlisted as finalists and are displayed in this breath-taking exhibition.

Most of the shortlisted images are from professional photographers at the cutting edge of the industry, however several talented amateur's shots have also been selected.

The ultimate winners of the competition will be decided by public vote, as all visitors to the exhibition will be invited to nominate their favourite photographs. The competition winners will be announced on the web site www.extremephoto.co.uk on 5 Nov.

The event is backed by some of the most respected names in photography and sport including Nikon, Mountain Equipment, Thorlos, Ski Club of Great Britain, Lightwave, Skiworld, Snow and Rock, Ortovox and Bollé and has become the definitive annual event for extreme sports photography.

In addition to the great prizes for the competition winners (see website for details) visitors to the exhibition who vote will be entered into a free draw to win Nikon's latest digital camera, the Coolpix SQ.
