You wonder why in this day and age of modern enlightenment that a company like Snozone cannot get their act together over something as simple as taking your money off you. We are of course referring to their telephone booking system. It's not like we're phoning some dodgy helpline. We're trying to give them money and today we at The Boarder had to wait over 45 minutes listening to this and then this until we spoke to the nice lady on the phone to take our hard earnt cash off us for this Friday's boarding session (see you there ;o). Fine if you like Bach (or whatever it was today), but no good if you're trying at least to look like you're doing some work. Just so you know, the telephones are person'd by a maximum of 5 people, although they do intend to change their telephone system and double the number of telephonists. However, we've been hearing that latter bit of news for a few months now. We often receive emails from readers wondering how else they can book sessions when Snozone's email is currently unavailable and you can't get through on the phones. In some instances people are trying to book a large number of places on training courses. When we dished out the discount vouchers recently, we had to post one of them to Ireland - Snozone's users are not locals. These people are not going to turn up on the off chance, especially when the maximum number of slope users has been reduced. So, come on Snozone. Get your act together. You may also want to investigate the use of the Internet to allow booking via your website. We hear e-commerce is all the rage these days. |
