We didn't have an email from another reader who doesn't live in Glasgow, who didn't say:

I live in glasgow and have been told in total confindentiality that [the Glasgow slope] will be going ahead. One of my friends works for the company that dealt with the plans for this - apparently it will go ahead and be ready in about 2 years time (heard this about 3 months ago) so things may have changed - just thought I would let you know anyway.

They now live in fear of their life and some significant bodily harm from the aforementioned "friend".
