Special Sessions You'll already be aware if you read everything we write, that Snozone intend to reduce the cost of slope use for "special sessions". These sessions include the boarding and skiing only nights each week. The prices have now been set... but they won't tell us what they are until the printers have done their bit with the new brochures. Once the brochures are back, the tills will be updated and we'll be one of the first to know. This should be within the next few weeks and we'll post the new figures as soon as we have them. Frequent Visitors This was put on hold as soon as Snozone opened due to its parent company's "financial difficulties". Now the dust has settled Snozone plan to introduce a frequent visitor scheme in February this year along the same or similar lines to those published here or on the Snozone Website. Talking of their website, you may have noticed it's been somewhat static since October. This is due to the "financial difficulties" mentioned above. Apart from a quick change of name on the homepage and changes to remove any email addresses, not much has happened. Snozone are currently putting together proposals for the maintenance of the website, so hopefully that will become a good source of news and information about the slope. You'll not be suprised to hear that if Snozone staff want to know anything about indoor snow in general they tend to come to The Boarder. They also regularly visit us to check out what we're saying about them, to help us make sure everything we say is factually correct (although it's not always nice). Praise indeed :o) |
