We've had reports from Milton Keynes that the police have been forced to close some of the roads around Xscape due to the danger of flying roof material. From a distance the damage this weekend's storms have done to the roof is clearly visible.

The slope will be closed for repairs and we'll let you know when we hear more. In the meantime, if you intend to visit we highly recommend you phone them first on 01908 230260.

Some have suggested that this is infact a design feature to provide outdoor slope use during the colder months. One kind reader is already offering helicopter trips to track out the best line down the slope.
