Park City Mountain Resort in Utah, host to snowboarding events at the 2002 Salt Lake winter Olympics, has announced a partnership with action sports brand Neff to create the ‘Neff Land’ terrain park for next winter 2012-13.
“Neff Land will boast the features and commitment to progression that park riders have come to expect of Park City Mountain Resort with a creative style and atmosphere that could only come from the minds of the Neff design team,” says a resort statement.
“It’s a dream come true,” said Shaun Neff, CEO of Neff Headwear. “Ten years ago I gave the first Neff beanies away to the top snow athletes in the world at Park City Mountain Resort. Now to have the opportunity to custom design a one-of-a-kind shred park at that very same mountain where it all started for Neff is truly an honour. Never have a brand and a resort come together to create a park experience like Neff Land. I can’t wait to reveal it this winter.”
Neff Land will inhabit the area known previously as The Ridge Terrain Park and joins PCMR’s 3 Kings Park, King’s Crown Park and the Eagle Superpipe in composing the Resort’s “I Ride Park City” park and pipe scene, which is consistently ranked among the best in North America by journalists and in user polls.
