Late 2003 should see the opening of Snowlab Las Vegas.

The building will be 15 minutes from the main strip and will house a real snow environment. Inside you'll find a super pipe - 140m long, 5m high side wall and 3m wide decks on each side and at the drop in. This is being designed by Snow Park Technology who have done all the pipes for the X-games and Snowboarding World Championships plus many other international events. There will also be a slope style area to international competition level plus some big air style tables.

This will be North America's first indoor slope and it is being designed with freestyle snowboarders and skiers in mind, rather than big mountain cruisers. Their aim is to make snowboarding an all year round urban sport.
